Colonial Car Wash

There antiquated equipment took off my roof trim on my Tundra. This truck has been to numerous car washes in the area..no issue. This manager Jordan at the location told me it was everything else but their old equipment…”my truck was old(8 years),sometimes even original equipment trim fails, are you sure we did it ( I watched it come off as it happened)” There is a newer car wash 1 1/2 miles down RT. 20..I’d use that one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR WASH WITH OLD EQUIPMENT AND POOR ATTITUDE MANAGER.

Anyone that gets their car washed here watch your charge card. I have gone there multiple times they didn’t take cash the days I was going so I had to use my card and when I got home for a power wash that I did was supposed to be $5.50 they charge your charge card $12. I can understand this happening maybe once but this was a third time it has happened. And then when I call them they say that’s something the bank does. I called my bank It’s not something the bank does. It’s something colonial car wash does on its own. They said the next day it will be straightened out well this is the next day and it’s not straightened out so I don’t know what they’re trying to pull but be very careful. i’m wondering how many people don’t check their bank.

I waited in line to wash my truck in the self service for 1/2 hr for the card reader to not work was able to find people who work there I explained the whole situation and how I tried 5 different cards multiple times I was told. Ya the card reader doesn't work only coins . Me . I just waited a 1/2 hr I only have cards . The reply I got is . Ya guess your out of luck . So if you walk around with 10 $ of quarters in your pocket and don't use debit/credit cards place for you.unfortenlly for me it's not 1930 and I use a debit card like 99 percent of the world.

Disappointed After 10+ Years of Loyalty As a long-time customer of Colonial Car Wash for over a decade, I’ve cherished the memories my kids and I have created here. They loved helping us vacuum the car and watching the colorful soap and brushes in action. Unfortunately, it pains me to say that the service quality has declined to the point where I fear for the future of this local business. It breaks my heart to write this review out of frustration and dissatisfaction, rather than praising a place where I’ve had great experiences in the past. Despite Colonial Car Wash’s longstanding presence in the community, the increasing competition from Hoffman’s Car Wash is going to take a serious toll unless significant improvements are made. Here are the key issues that need urgent attention: 1. Vacuum Machines: The vacuums are the worst in the area, despite being free. What was once a strategic advantage is now a glaring weakness, especially since the competition now offers free vacuums throughout the Capital District. Their vacuums are new and powerful, while Colonial’s are often broken, weak, and clogged with debris. 2. Self-Cleaning Bays: This was a unique feature that set Colonial a
